DBE®-6 (dimethyl adipate) is a colorless, clear liquid with a mild, pleasant odour.

DBE®-6 is readily soluble in alcohols, ketones, ethers and most hydrocarbons. It's only slightly soluble in water and higher paraffinated hydrocarbons.
