Hexanmethylene diamine (HMD)
HMD is a highly pure (min. 99,9%), aliphatic diamine.
Applications:
- Intermediate for polyamides (e.g. Nylon) and polyurethanes
- Curing agent for epoxy resins
- Additive for lubricants
- Polyamide resins, adhesives, printing inks, fibres
- Corrosion inhibitors
- As chemical for water treatment
- Biozides
